We are currently looking for a full time Optometrist for our Thurrock Warehouse. Responsibilities
- Diagnosing sight problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness or eye diseases.
- Providing treatment such as contact lenses or glasses.
- Informing patients and explaining how to take care of their eyes; educating on contact lens cleaning and wear.
- Liaising with other medical practitioners and sharing care of patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions.
- Undertaking continuing education and training.
- Managing staff, including dispensing opticians and clerical staff.
- Administering, organising and planning development of the practice.
- Liaising with sales representatives from vision care product suppliers.
- Providing prompt and courteous service to members, employees and vendors at all times.
Qualifications
- Hold an Optometry degree approved by the GOC.
- Service oriented - experienced in going the extra mile.
- Energetic and familiar with working in a fast paced environment.
