Brand New Opening for Autumn 2026! Sutton (SM1 1SH) £50,000 to £55,000 salary (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus up to £5,000 performance related bonus. Full-Time / 40 hours (overtime hours are paid if needing to go above weekly scheduled hours).

We are supporting a fast-growing nursery group who are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join their brand new Nursery in Sutton, which is due to open in the Autumn of 2026. Building has already started on this beautiful 100-place nursery in the heart of Sutton Town Centre, just a short walk from the train station and with great transport links.

Your expertise and experience will be needed to:

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
  • To hold a Maths GCSE or Functional Skills qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience leading and managing Early Years settings with proven experience and evidence of improving performance
  • The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with all stakeholders
  • The ability to operate autonomously, be comfortable with responsibility, and take ownership
  • A passion for childcare and child development and making a difference to the community
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Experience in opening a new nursery is desirable, although not essential
