Kids Planet is an independent family run group of nurseries providing high standard nursery care across the UK. As a Nursery Cook you will work Monday to Friday, no weekends or bank holidays. Your role will involve creating nutritious menus, serving meals to children, and ensuring food safety and dietary compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals, accommodating allergies and special dietary requirements for all children.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, ensuring compliance with environmental health standards.
  • Collaborate with children and the nursery team in snack making and baking activities.

Qualifications

  • Catering experience, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs.
  • Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.
