George Spencer Academy is seeking an outstanding Safeguarding and Child Protection Lead to oversee operational responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within the school.
We are looking for someone who:
- has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team supporting students
- is motivated and passionate about supporting the well-being and welfare of our students
- can demonstrate they have the experience and deep understanding of students' needs
- has experience and a broad knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation, policy and practice
- is able to lead on the tracking, monitoring, planning and delivery of safeguarding training to colleagues
