The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
Responsibilities include ensuring that engineers have the tools, parts and equipment they need at the right time and place to deliver great service to customers. This involves sourcing and ordering parts, materials, PPE and tools. You will ensure that items are delivered to the correct place on the correct day or, if they come straight to the branch, you will receive them, pack them away and allocate them to the correct jobs. Some of your time will be spent in the office, working on administration tasks such as sourcing and ordering items, processing invoices, managing warranties and updating records. The rest of your time will be in the stores, maintaining stock control, keeping the area neat and tidy, and allocating parts to the correct jobs. You will also be responsible for the supply and management of refrigerants, administration of the branch fleets, van inspections, and conducting some Health and Safety checks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role in electrical, plumbing wholesaler, builder's merchants or similar supplier-based industry.
- Some working experience within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and database skills) with the ability to learn new computer software systems.
- Comfortable with some manual handling.
- Must have a current, valid UK driving licence as some driving/deliveries to site may be required at times.

If you are successful, you will be required to complete a DBS check. We strictly follow the DBS code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
