Think you would be a great liaison for students living in Nottingham Trent University halls of residence? This role is open to current 2nd year and above students who live or have lived in the university halls.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and other role‑specific meetings.
  • Assist with event administration, including inputting attendance data, responding to student queries, and general event logistics.
  • Contribute to the social media marketing of events and activities.
  • Help plan events and give ideas during planning and organisation.
  • Lead a minimum of one event per week: set up the event, register attendance, lead the activity, and respond to any queries.
  • Ensure events are conducted safely in accordance with health and safety policies.
  • Actively promote upcoming events to attendees.
  • Gather feedback and assess attendee experiences during events.
  • Attend relevant training provided by UPP and its partners.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for students, answering questions and informing staff of issues within the halls of residence.
  • Flexible hours may be required, including evenings and weekends, with notice.

Qualifications

  • Current Nottingham Trent University student, 2nd year or above.
  • Have lived or be living in the university halls of residence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience running or working at events, or a passion for teamwork and excellent service mentality.
