We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Northwich Campus, supporting within our specialist provision team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), delivering a bespoke curriculum alongside consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality learning activities across 1:1, small group, and occasionally whole‑class settings
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a named pupil, including supervision throughout the school day (including breaks and lunchtimes)
- Support the delivery of a personalised, bespoke curriculum
- Act as a Key Worker, building strong relationships with the pupil, parents, and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the LSCo, SENDCo, and specialist teachers to implement EHCP outcomes
- Provide enhanced supervision for specific activities (e.g. 2:1 support for swimming or off‑site activities)
- Term time only

About You
- Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience (e.g. NVQ Level 4/5)
- Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, SEND frameworks, and relevant legislation
- Show resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting engagement
