You will be Head Chef at the Wheatsheaf Inn in the Cotswolds, overseeing kitchen operations, menu creation, and staff management.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside our General Manager, you will bring fresh ingredients and high standards to the kitchen.
  • Create inspiring seasonal menus, develop original recipes, champion local Cotswold produce, and lead the revival of one of the region's most loved premium pubs with rooms.

Qualifications

  • Experience championing excellent service through quality food as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
  • Passion for leading and developing a team
  • Hands on team player with excellent communication skills
  • Responsibility for managing kitchen staff rota, training and health & safety
  • Creativity to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials
  • Great planning and organisational skills to maintain effective controls with regard to GP and labour
  • Pro active approach to driving sales and delivering growth through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
