Have you ever felt that your electrical skills could do more than complete installations and instead help shape the next generation of professionals? This is your opportunity to do exactly that. At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor to join their expanding team based in Northampton. This is a full time permanent position delivering high quality electrical education and support to apprentices. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence and employability.

As an Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for Level 3 Electrical Installation (5357), including 18th Edition wiring and advanced craft certificate.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Provide one to one or small group support.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
  • Carry out on site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in teaching, tutoring or assessing, especially with apprentices.
  • You must be either assessor or teacher qualified.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed.

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum.
  • 37 hours per week, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm.
  • Company pension.
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays per annum.
  • Free on site parking.
