At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor to join their expanding team based in Northampton. This is a full time permanent position delivering high quality electrical education and support to apprentices. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence and employability.
As an Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor, you will:
- Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for Level 3 Electrical Installation (5357), including 18th Edition wiring and advanced craft certificate.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide one to one or small group support.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
- Carry out on site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring or assessing, especially with apprentices.
- You must be either assessor or teacher qualified.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed.
Salary and benefits:
- Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum.
- 37 hours per week, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm.
- Company pension.
- 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays per annum.
