28 hours per week, 9 am - 5 pm

Week 1 - Monday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

We're looking for a warm, creative, and energetic Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care for residents living with dementia. This role is perfect for someone who believes meaningful activity is at the centre of wellbeing and who can bring joy, structure, and connection into each day.

As our Activities Coordinator, you will design and deliver a varied programme of activities that support residents' cognitive, emotional, and physical wellbeing. You'll work closely with the care team and families to ensure every activity is person centred and tailored to individual abilities, interests, and life histories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organise, and lead daily activities, events, and themed sessions
  • Create opportunities for reminiscence, sensory engagement, and social interaction
  • Encourage participation in a way that respects each resident's dignity and independence
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and wellbeing outcomes
  • Liaise with local community groups, entertainers, and volunteers
  • Support residents during outings and special events
  • Contribute to a warm, inclusive, and stimulating home environment
