From intimate basement gigs to packed-out dancefloors and rooftop sessions that run late into the night, YES is a venue built on great hospitality, strong operations, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door.

The Role

This is a hands-on, operational role at the heart of the venue. You'll be supporting the management team day-to-day, leading shifts, keeping standards high, supporting the team, and making sure the venue runs properly from open through to late-night close. We're after someone who's confident running busy services, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys the chaos and energy that comes with nightlife and live events. No two shifts at YES look the same, so you'll need to be adaptable, organised, and happy getting stuck in wherever needed.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Running shifts across the venue and supporting the wider management team.
  • Leading and motivating the floor and bar teams during busy services and club nights.
  • Making sure guests have a great experience from start to finish.
  • Helping manage staffing, training, rotas, and team development.
  • Supporting stock control, cash handling, licensing, and venue procedures.
  • Working closely with events, DJs, promoters, and live music teams to keep things running smoothly.
  • Maintaining high standards across service, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Being a reliable presence on late-night shifts and helping deal with whatever the night throws at you.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a management or supervisor role within a busy bar, club, music venue, or late-night hospitality space.
  • Someone who's operationally strong and comfortable in high-volume environments.
  • A hands-on leader who leads from the floor and gets involved.
  • Calm under pressure with good people skills and solid decision-making.
  • A genuine love for nightlife, hospitality, and live music.
  • Flexible to work late nights and weekends.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • Staff discounts across the venue and wider group.
  • Ticket discounts and staff perks.
  • A fun, supportive, and inclusive working environment.
  • Opportunities to grow within an independent hospitality group.
  • The chance to be part of one of Manchester's best-loved late-night venues.
