Blue Arrow are seeking a Transport Administrator for a client in Mallusk. You will support in the running of safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards and defined outcomes for your area of responsibility during shift. This would initially be a temporary position with the view to go full time with company after a probationary period.
Main Duties
- Provide general administrative support to Transport Team in all aspects of transport related activities.
- Support the safe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations during a duty shift to network SLA's/KPI's.
- Responsible for producing and maintaining reports and investigating discrepancies regarding vehicles.
- Management of ferry bookings, communicating any updates to the relevant parties as required.
- Review and amend daily plans, working closely with planning teams so that operations are optimised and costs are managed proactively.
- Collate all feedback against plan in the daily operations log for use in plan/do/review calls.
- To ensure that all training related to Health and Safety is adhered to and any concerns regarding Health and Safety are reported to the relevant parties.
- Support daily brief/debrief for the client, agency and sub contractor drivers.
- Responsible for producing and maintaining reports on Driver Debriefing System.
- Check Driver Observation reports, enter on Portal and sign off actions/report in Handover.
- Prepare Drivers Run Sheets including Names/Units/ Fuel Card PIN/TRIP number.
- Responsible for input and maintenance of the DCTS system.
- Point of the contact for drivers during your shift.
- Update Outgoing/Incoming Trailer Sheet.
- Complete Gatehouse Checks.
- Responding to incoming calls and emails including responding to customer service queries.
- Manage vehicle compliance.
