About the role

This role is for a Fresh Food Development Specialist reporting to the Fresh Food Manager. Responsibilities include providing hands-on support to store teams, driving sales, improving profitability, ensuring compliance, and developing efficient processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coach store teams with practical support on merchandising and creative solutions to drive sales.
  • Deliver the fresh food proposition in new and redeveloped stores within agreed timelines.
  • Formulate and deliver coaching workshops that improve store operations.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports with insights and action plans.
  • Collaborate with other business functions to develop and implement business development solutions that increase sales and profit.
  • Present commercial insights on fresh food performance to the Retail and Senior Leadership Teams.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' management experience within the Fresh Food retail sector.
  • Strong IT proficiency, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Full, valid UK/EU driving licence.
