The successful candidate will have strong organisational, leadership and communication skills, and be able to build strong working relationships with the senior team to plan for a range of different events and bookings. These include:
- Weddings - The Ship Inn Langstone has a full wedding License
- Fireworks / Raft race - Large free public Events
- Private dining - Tasting evenings / Themed nights
- Associated food for sporting events - Premium Sports TNT / World Cup large screen fan zone
- Wakes
- Refreshing the menu and specials throughout the year, with a coastal and seasonal focus.

The Ship stays busy throughout the year, supported by a Sales and Events Manager, and as well as its location and reputation. Operating times are from 10.00 – 23.00 daily, including Breakfast, with senior team start times from 08.00.
