We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our team on a large Ministry of Justice (MoJ) project on the Isle of Wight. This is a key leadership role on a high profile scheme, offering the opportunity to work within a complex, secure environment and contribute to a project of national significance.

You will play a critical role in leading site operations, managing teams and ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading day to day site operations across designated areas of the project
  • Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
  • Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met and promoted
  • Driving quality across all works and ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Supporting programme delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
  • Coordinating with commercial, design and planning teams to maintain alignment
  • Managing logistics and working effectively within a secure, live project environment
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and the wider project team

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within construction
  • Experience delivering large or complex projects, ideally within secure, custodial or highly regulated environments (MoJ experience beneficial)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary site teams
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety, quality and site processes
  • Ability to manage programme pressures and drive delivery performance
  • A proactive, organised and solutions focused approach
  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
