What Does the Role Include?

  • Reducing age debt to align with agreed targets
  • Creating good lasting professional relationships with customers, ensuring customers are contacted prior to debt falling due
  • Carrying out credit checks on customers and recommending an appropriate credit limit to the financial controller
  • Review credit limits on a regular basis
  • Dealing with queries in a timely manner in conjunction with departmental managers
  • Reporting on potential problematic accounts to the financial controller during weekly meetings
  • Manage accounts centralised in-box alongside your own
  • Daily receipting across all bank accounts
  • General administration activities and supporting the finance team when required (Invoicing/credit notes/portal uploads/Direct debit system)
