A wonderful family living in Hersham, Surrey are looking for a kind, very organised and proactive nanny to care for their 3 children Monday to Friday part time in term time (28 hours in the afternoons) and full time in the school holidays (53 hours). Not all children are at school and they have a young baby so you must be confident with baby care and happy with a mixture of sole and shared care. The family also includes a small dog who would appreciate walks Monday to Thursday during term time. All nursery duties will be required as well as cooking for the children. The ideal candidate will be warm, fun, and happy to take the children out and about as well as create activities at home.

Schedule

  • Term time hours – Monday to Thursday 1–7 pm and Friday 1 pm–5 pm (28 hours).
  • School holidays – Monday to Thursday 8 am–7 pm and Friday 8 am–5 pm (53 hours).
  • Dog walks Monday–Thursday during term time.

Pay and Employment Details

Pay: £40,000 gross per annum. This is a permanent role. Job start date: flexible but before September 2026.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Childcare qualification.
  • 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate.
  • Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Minimum of two professional referees (one must be a current or last employer).

Additional Requirements

  • Driving required – happy to use own car.
  • Comfortable with baby care and shared care arrangements.
  • Ability to walk a small dog.
