ROLE: Multi Skilled Technician

HOURS: 37.5 (3 shift pattern consisting of Early shift, Day shift and Late shift).

LOCATION: Chichester

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Technician who will support the smooth running of the Rolls Royce sites in Chichester & Bognor, ensuring plant, equipment and facilities remain compliant, safe, and available.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical engineering expertise in the investigation and rectification of plant and equipment defects.
  • Provide technical support where required for mechanical engineering maintenance tasks.
  • Proactively support safe and effective day to day maintenance activities at the Rolls Royce facility.
  • Be responsible for the availability of all machinery, plant and infrastructure through a programme of Preventative Maintenance.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all service and maintenance records, including Maximo/Mijobs modules.
  • Provide hands on assistance in electrical/mechanical plant and machinery breakdowns/faults.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • Ideally 5-10 years' experience in a maintenance/facilities management environment.
  • Experienced in preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Proven experience of working within large and complex environments.

Health & Safety

  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may pose risk.
  • Use all work equipment and PPE correctly in line with training.
  • Report issues or training needs to your line manager or via divisional incident reporting.
  • Take personal responsibility for Health & Safety matters.
