What you'll do:

  • Responsible for carrying out secondary operations and producing parts to the required quality and organisational standards.
  • Control materials required for production whilst observing our "I choose zero" safety culture.
  • Undertake manual assembly, secondary operations, etc. for which training has been given.
  • Carry out measurement and testing of parts where required.
  • Operate greasing, rumbling, granulating, drying and other machinery for which training has been given.
  • Adhere to standard operating policies and procedures, contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and targets (production efficiency, inventory, tidiness & cleanliness, etc.).
  • Monitor output and record all information on the relevant documentation (using MTM where appropriate).
  • Adhere to order quantities, dates, etc. to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
  • Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
  • Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to the supervisor.

Skills:

  • Basic injection moulding knowledge/experience.
  • Experience of operating machinery and performing manual assembly tasks.
