Overview
The City of Edinburgh Council offers a Modern (Craft) Apprenticeship Training Programme for new and returning entrants to the labour market.
Responsibilities
- Serve a 4 year apprenticeship in Plumbing, combining on site learning with academic study.
- Learn essential plumbing skills and undertake plumbing work to a high standard in council properties.
- Achieve SVQ Level 3 / SCQ Level 6 qualifications by passing all required exams and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Have left secondary education in the past three years or currently enrolled in a City of Edinburgh Council employability training programme.
- Be aged up to 29 inclusive, or have a disability or care experience.
- Show willingness to participate in a Modern Apprenticeship programme.
- Be willing to obtain a driving licence and to travel to the college.
