About The Role

Salary - Up to £40,000 per annum

Location - Barnstaple & Surrounding areas

Working Hours - Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Job Status - Permanent

Due to the formation of a new department, we are looking for a Mobile Repair Technician to join a national technician's team to support our customers. This role is ideal for a Level 3 Technician who enjoys versatile day-to-day job activities as every day comes with new challenges. You will be comfortable with face to face interactions with our customers providing professional service. As a Mobile Repair Technician, you will not be required to have your own tools; these will be provided to you with a work van.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified)
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and, if needed, undertake electrical diagnosis
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Mechanical Inspector
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3
  • Full valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
