The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
Part time Civil Enforcement Officer (CPO) - 21.8 hours per week across a 5 day week, with a mix of day and night shifts from 6:00 am to 12:00 am, including public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operate the municipal mobile CCTV van to enforce School Streets, traffic prohibitions and parking contraventions across Hackney.
- Carry out statutory Civil Enforcement Officer duties under the Traffic Management Act 2004, including enforcement of moving traffic, bus lanes and PCN violations.
- Process and log CCTV and ANPR data manually or via unattended systems from back office control rooms.
- Maintain relevant administrative records, including CCTV scheme permits and scheme performance logs.
- Collaborate with residents and associated services to resolve parking and enforcement issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Category B driving licence (mandatory).
- Successful completion of DBS level 2 security vetting.
- Strong organisational, communication and conflict resolution skills; experience in an agile work environment is desirable.
- Willingness to undergo on the job training - prior parking enforcement experience is not required.
