Mobile Electrical Engineer - Derby & Wakefield (2 sites in Derby, 1 in Wakefield)

Up to £42,000 basic salary

Monday-Friday 40 hours per week. Overtime paid at 1.5x.

Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a mobile role with variety and a strong work-life balance? A leading UK Facilities Management provider is currently seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support three key sites - two based in Derby and one in Wakefield. Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Work on a range of M&E systems including BMS, fire alarms, HVAC/air conditioning, generators, and LV electrical distribution/switchgear.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage and prioritise workload across multiple locations effectively.
  • Ensure all compliance and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building services / facilities maintenance.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to mobile nature of the role).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
