As a Refuse Loader / Waste Operative, you will be working as part of a professional waste collection team, supporting the safe and efficient collection of household and commercial waste across local routes. This is a physically demanding role that involves walking, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous waste management, recycling, labouring, or drivers mate experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities- Collecting household and commercial waste and recycling materials
- Loading bins and refuse onto waste collection vehicles
- Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes
- Following all health & safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of reliability and professionalism
- Supporting drivers and loaders throughout the working day
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
