Your new company: A long‑established, fast‑growing specialist events business is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join its Milton Keynes team. With projects across the UK, Middle East and Asia, the business delivers high quality, rapidly deployed solutions.
Your new role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance across a broad range of projects. You'll be responsible for project and management accounting as well as business partnering a variety of non‑finance stakeholders. Your duties will include:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost control across the project lifecycle
- Prepare Cost-to-Complete reports and ensure accurate profit recognition
- Ensure robust calculation of costs, benefits and cash flows
- Develop and refine a standardised project costing model
- Manage capital budgets and track expenditure against approvals
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciation
- Provide effective financial partnering to business operations
- Deliver timely and value‑adding reporting to support commercial decisions
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
What you'll need to succeed: You'll need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with excellent communication and business partnering skills as well as experience working within project accounting or a project‑based environment.
