About the Role
Looking for a new role where you can really make a difference? The Low Carbon Communities Team at Changeworks is a small, dynamic team that focuses on exploring how community engagement can support householders to become more energy efficient and actively supporting people to move towards action. The team delivers energy advice projects across Scotland, with the support of local partners and national funders, and tests different approaches to community engagement to understand where the greatest impacts can be achieved.
We're looking for a Low Carbon Communities Officer to help smoothly and successfully deliver community‑based energy advice projects across Scotland. In this role, you'll work with local partners and directly with communities to make energy advice more accessible, with a particular focus on supporting people in rural areas and minoritised ethnic communities. You'll help manage projects, engage local stakeholders and help develop new approaches to community engagement that support households to tackle fuel poverty and decarbonise their homes.
