About The Role

The Bradford No Second Night Out project provides support to new and entrenched rough sleepers. The scheme offers a range of accommodation, outreach, assessment and advice as well as coordinating the delivery of the Cold Weather provision for rough sleepers in Bradford. The Homeless Outreach Programme (HOPs) supports rough sleepers in Bradford into appropriate accommodation and offers wrap around support.

Tasks may include:

  • Specialising in delivery of outreach services for adults who are currently sleeping rough, or at risk of doing so.
  • Supporting clients with obtaining suitable accommodation and sustaining tenancy.
  • Undertaking outreach sessions, including referral agencies and other stakeholders to publicise the service.
  • Receiving referrals and giving signposting advice; attending any relevant multi-agency meetings as required.
  • Sharing any concerns about residents with a staff member.
  • Respecting peoples’ differences.
  • Working within agreed professional boundaries at all times and in line with Waythrough policies and procedures.
