An established Main Contractor with a strong reputation is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join their team on a major project starting next month in County Mayo. This project will have about a 2-year duration and our client has had projects in this part of the country for the past 5+ years and has a robust pipeline for the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess M&E design packages during the pre-construction/tender stage, highlighting any potential issues or gaps to the project and estimating teams.
- Manage and coordinate the timely flow of M&E design documentation to support on-site construction activities.
- Ensure all M&E drawings and data released for construction have been properly checked and approved by relevant designers, site teams, and stakeholders, fully complying with project requirements.
- Support compliance with health & safety regulations, including contributions to CDM processes.
- Facilitate and lead coordination meetings with clients, consultants, design partners, and specialist subcontractors.
- Examine technical drawings, specifications, and related documents to spot discrepancies, clashes, or areas needing clarification.
What We're Looking For
- Preferably qualified to degree level in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven track record working directly for a main building contractor.
- Experience in data centre projects is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of hands-on building services coordination experience, ideally gained on projects in Ireland (and/or the UK).
- Solid working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
