Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their growing team.

Job Description

  • To finish laser cut blanks in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Use and day to day maintenance of pillar drills, grinding equipment, orbital sanders and general hand tools.
  • Reaming, Countersinking, Chamfering, Deburring and Surface finishing.
  • Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
  • Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Engineering Drawings, Ream sheets, Data Cards, etc.
  • Use of relevant measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
  • Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Relevant experience/experience in a similar role (using manufacturing hand tools, deburring/polishing/linishing/finishing decent components).
  • General machine operatives (anyone who have operated some form of manufacturing machinery/working within a manufacturing environment).
  • Self-driven, and motivated.
