As Audit Director and Responsible Individual, you will take overall responsibility for the firm's audit function, playing a key role in client delivery, leadership and strategic growth. You will work closely with the Partner group while retaining autonomy over the audit department.
Key responsibilities:- Act as Responsible Individual (RI) for statutory audits under UK regulation
- Lead, manage and develop a growing audit team
- Oversee audit quality, methodology and compliance with ISAs and regulatory standards
- Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, primarily SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Support business development and identify opportunities to grow the audit portfolio
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser
- Contribute to the firm's wider strategic and operational objectives
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Audit Responsible Individual (RI) status is essential
