This is a permanent full time position.

Overview of the Position

We are looking for a Residential Property Conveyancer to join our team. The successful applicant must have experience and the ability to deal with their own caseload of freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor - would consider Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • 2+ years' experience (essential)
  • Proven experience within the field

Department Specific Requirements

  • Manage a caseload with assistance
  • The work will be diverse including but not limited to sales and purchases, mortgages re-mortgages and buy to lets
  • Communicating with clients to receive instructions and give advice
  • Working with Estate Agents and Solicitors
  • Working with land registry documents and title deeds
  • Experience of working in a busy Conveyancing department and managing a caseload with minimal supervision

Job Specific Duties

  • Managing a mixed Conveyancing caseload of freehold and leasehold sale and purchase matters
  • Preparing mortgage reports
  • Checking titles and raising enquiries
  • Preparing contracts on sale files
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Carrying out the necessary searches and reporting to clients on the search results
  • Ensuring regular communication with clients
  • Building relationships with referrers
  • Managing clients' expectations
  • Preparing matters for completion including Accounts packs
  • Plus, any other duties as reasonably requested by Management
