Overview: The role will involve greeting and booking patients upon arrival at the hub site and conducting patient satisfaction surveys. Full induction will be provided. Our hub sites are located across the borough and sessions are available on Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 at site WA3. Additional hub sites across the Wigan borough offer overtime opportunities.
Main Duties: The role includes booking patients upon arrival, professionally handling queries, informing GP's of any changes to pre booked appointments, ensuring a handover to the service coordinator, returning keys and equipment to the designated place, completing audit checks on every session, and distributing patient surveys.
Job Responsibilities: Demonstrate organisational skills, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, adapt to short notice changes, work flexibly as part of a team, support staff shortages, provide telephony support, maintain good working relationships, and refer to others when necessary. Possess knowledge of NHS IT systems (training provided) and use Microsoft Outlook/Office and Excel spreadsheets effectively.
Qualifications: Minimum Grade C in Maths and English, or equivalents. Knowledge of System One desirable; full training provided.
