CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work adheres to the highest safety and technical standards, including full NICEIC compliance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements. This role is based at our headquarters in Warrington.
Responsibilities
- NICEIC Compliance & Certification: Act as the appointed NICEIC QS, managing accreditation, validating certifications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing for audits.
- Technical Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee and inspect all electrical work for compliance with IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and NICEIC standards. Provide technical support, conduct post‑audits, and ensure quality controls are implemented. Maintain calibrated test equipment.
- Training & Development: Assess staff competence, deliver electrical training, and ensure ongoing professional development.
- Reporting & Documentation: Produce compliance reports, track legislative changes, and document quality inspections.
- Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
Hours
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be NICEIC qualified or meet criteria to achieve certification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018).
- C&G 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Electrical Inspection and Testing, or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years as a full‑time supervisor and 3 years as an Electrician, preferably with commercial electrical installations, testing, and inspecting.
- Previous NICEIC QS experience is highly desirable.
- In‑depth knowledge of BS7671, NICEIC standards, electrical design, maintenance, verification, and inspection/testing.
- Proficient in fault‑finding and repairs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong relationship management skills.
- Highly organized, responsive, effective planner, and skilled in problem‑solving.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and NICEIC software.
