As a Commercial Finance Lead, you will nurture strong partnerships across the business, bringing clarity, empathy, and insight to financial performance to help teams feel confident in the decisions they make and the direction they take.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships across teams, offering thoughtful, clear insights that support shared goals and collective success.
- Own the Fixed P&L, interpreting performance, highlighting opportunities, and guiding the business with clarity and confidence.
- Shape and track key KPIs, guiding where to focus and how to grow sustainably.
- Turn complex data into meaningful, easy to understand insights that connect financial performance with real business impact.
- Support financial planning cycles, ensuring forecasts, budgets, and long term plans reflect ambition while staying grounded in insight.
- Explore and champion margin optimisation opportunities, working with others to deliver strong, balanced outcomes.
- Contribute to OpEx management and provide flexible support across evolving priorities and projects.
- Engage regularly with senior stakeholders, communicating with warmth, clarity, and confidence to influence decisions and build alignment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and natural curiosity to understand what sits behind the numbers.
- Apply solid accounting principles in a commercial, real world context and communicate in a clear, thoughtful, and approachable way.
