Overview This role is responsible for promoting sales trading activities to a set of clients.
Key responsibilities include executing sales in listed and NASDAQ securities and coordinating with institutional clients to identify and purchase/sell opportunities.
The role involves developing relationships with assigned client organizations through trading and execution services.
Responsibilities
- Manages a desk covering client orders on listed and NASDAQ securities and promotes sales trading activities to a set of clients
- Manages riskless principal trading books while ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations and managing risk
- Coordinates with institutional clients to identify purchase and sale opportunities by staying current on market conditions, regulations, and subject‑matter expertise of the firm's products
- Responds to sales force requests to identify buyers/sellers for a security
- Develops relationships with clients through trading and execution services by delivering timely and accurate outcomes
- Assists in cross‑selling activities by coordinating efforts between various coverage points and identifying gaps
- Provides guidance to more junior associates

- Required Qualifications
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licensing
- Minimum of eight years of trading experience
- Experience in causation, investment, research and data and trend analysis
- Experience with client management, risk management, trade monitoring, business strategy, financial forecasting and modeling
- Builds strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Displays a proactive mindset and effective time management
- Demonstrates a results‑driven mindset and prioritizes client interests
