Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the London Market transformation Office, delivering PMO activities for one or multiple projects as required.
  • Apply PMO practices and processes ensuring that the project is consistently following client methodology and tools.
  • Support reporting across the transformation portfolio, specifically focused on Risk and project performance.
  • Support Resource forecasting in line with transformation requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting across the transformation portfolio facilitating executive level decision‑making within Arch Insurance UK.
  • Support the successful execution of key transformation initiatives primarily within the London Market department.
  • Communicate feedback continuously with key transformation partners across Actuarial, Finance, IT and London Market transformation.
  • Work with various business partners to define requirements and document best practices within transformation activities supporting the end‑to‑end business and Finance/IT processes.

Role Requirements & Skills

  • Experienced working within a PMO function within financial services.
  • Proficient in the use of Project Management tools and system.
  • Experienced in Risk & Change Management and escalation procedures in a project and portfolio context.
  • Problem‑solver with the ability to identify and deliver solutions on issues.
  • Strong verbal, written and technical (Excel and PowerPoint) communication skills essential.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Must be able to work independently to draw conclusions and make recommendations to the London Market Transformation Head & Lead.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or other discipline preferable.
  • Project Management accreditation preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a Project Management Office or Business Analyst role.
