The Senior People Communications Advisor supports the delivery of people-focused communications initiatives across Linklaters and external audiences. Reporting to the Head of People Communications, you will drive engaging internal and external campaigns and provide communications support spanning wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, firm values, business transformation, and other key people topics. This role helps shape messages that build culture, inform employees, and enable change across regions and teams. You will work closely with stakeholders across the People function, senior leaders, Channel and Editorial team, local communications teams, and subject matter experts, translating complex information into accessible and engaging content that supports firmwide priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, draft, and refine engaging communications content for internal and external campaigns focused on people priorities, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and business transformation.
- Advise stakeholders and contribute to communications strategies for people initiatives, ensuring messaging is clear, relevant, and tailored to diverse audiences.
- Draft and coordinate the delivery and publication of people-related communications through the firm's intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, LinkedIn, and visual channels in partnership with the Content and Editorial team.
- Work with the Business Teams leadership with communications to drive change.
- Support HR in developing and communicating the firm's employer value proposition and Business Development & Marketing in enhancing the employer brand and EVP.
- Monitor feedback, analytics, and impact of campaigns, recommending improvements and refining messages in response to data and personnel feedback.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of employee engagement forums, digital events, and other interactive opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within people communications.
Experience
- Meaningful experience in internal communications, employee engagement, external communications or change communications, ideally within a professional services, legal, or corporate environment.
- Strong track record drafting engaging, accessible messaging for internal audiences.
- Familiarity with campaign coordination, digital channels, and analytics.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multi-regional teams.
- Comfortable translating complex topics for wide audiences.
- Experience managing competing deadlines and projects.

The Team
The People Communications team is responsible for developing and delivering communications that drive Linklaters' people-focused, change and technology agenda internally and externally. The team champions the employer value proposition through high-quality, timely, and inclusive messaging and supports and develops the employer brand. It works closely with the Channel and Editorial team to develop and deliver engaging communications and with the Leadership Communications team to ensure the alignment and support of the Senior Partner and Firmwide Managing Partner with the people agenda.
