Report to Director, Global Logistics, W&D, Utilities within CMO and Logistics Procurement organization. Lead end to end strategic procurement initiatives across the global logistics category, including transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive or support large scale procurement transformation programs across supply chain and logistics networks.
  • Lead cross functional projects that optimize network design, freight consolidation, and logistics operating models.
  • Interface with QSC Operations, 4PL team, and other stakeholders to deploy logistics transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee procurement supplier relationships with the nominated 4PL partner, manage commercial governance, budgets, contracts, and KPI performance.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with global logistics providers and 3PL partners, including supplier enabled innovation (SEI).
  • Develop supplier performance frameworks, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs in partnership with Category Teams, QSC Operations and 4PL.
  • Partner with global supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and commercial teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Communicate and engage key enabling functions such as OU Logistics, Trading Partners, and Procurement Category Leaders to support project execution and benefit delivery.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership on logistics procurement strategy, market trends, and intelligence.
  • Lead cross regional collaboration to harmonize logistics sourcing processes in line with industry best practices.
  • Deliver sustainable cost optimization across logistics spend and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect supply continuity.
  • Support Haleon's sustainability goals by integrating carbon reduction and responsible sourcing practices into logistics procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Contribute to the Global Procurement organization's goals by partnering across Categories and Procurement CoE.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Procurement, Finance, Business or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in a corporate environment, international logistics, operational excellence, procurement, or related fields.
  • High level of fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Deep financial acumen and strong analytical skills.
  • Extensive program management experience, including change management and executive communication.
  • Track record of delivering large transformation programmes with measurable savings and working capital improvements.
  • Experience identifying and mobilising continuous improvement initiatives for complex logistics networks.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams with Lean/ Six Sigma analytical capability.
  • Expertise in logistics and practical experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Supply chain operations experience and understanding of external environment & supplier relationship models.
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix business environment with global teams.
  • Strong networking, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • High learning agility, ability to solve complex problems with limited oversight.
  • Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Motivation for professional development and willingness to coach, mentor, and train others.
