A leading pharmaceuticals organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their organisation. The organisation is a leader in providing specialist products and technologies to healthcare markets globally.
As Senior Legal Counsel you will be responsible for providing legal support for the clinical trial business which operates across Europe and the US and will act as business partner to the clinical trials management team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role; you will work effectively with other members of the Legal team and with members of the applicable commercial teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal support and advice to the clinical trials team.
- Managing legal risk across the breadth of the business in a manner that supports and facilitates the continued commercial success of the business.
- Ensuring compliance with any current and future legal and regulatory requirements and providing training to non-legal colleagues where appropriate.
About you
The successful candidate will be dual qualification admitted in US and a European jurisdiction ideally Spain or England and Wales with at least 8 years PQE. Experience of drafting complex international European and US legal agreements is essential. Ideally, you will have experience of working in a commercial in-house environment. Previous experience gained in the pharma industry or with clinical trials and multi-jurisdictional experience would be highly advantageous.
