The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will conduct ID checks, respond to emergencies, and provide information to staff and visitors as necessary. The role requires a robust background in the security sector, proficiency in IT systems, excellent multitasking abilities, and a professional and polished demeanour with strong communication skills.

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights only 19:00 - 07:00. Average 42 hours per week.

Location: London, WC1H 9LT, near Russell Square/Euston.

Main Duties:

  • Act as a point of contact and information centre for staff and visitors.
  • Provide clear, concise information in person, over the phone and by email.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager.
  • Respond to emergencies and handle conflicts appropriately.
  • Write up incidents to management standards.
  • Carry out ID checks and maintain vigilance of Health and Safety risks.
  • Work on own initiative and maintain a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure reception area, foyer, staff area and board room remain clean by supervising cleaning staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA licence.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Officer and within Corporate Security.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports.
  • Resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
  • 5‑year checkable work history.
  • IT literate – ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
