You'll bring your GMC registered clinical expertise, strong communication skills and confidence with EMIS, TQuest and Pathlinks to provide safe, effective consultations - all within an environment designed to genuinely support your wellbeing.

Main duties of the job
  • Deliver high quality patient care supported by a diverse team including paramedics, pharmacists and mental health nurses.

Job responsibilities

The salaried GP will provide high quality, holistic clinical care to patients within a supportive, multidisciplinary primary care environment. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective, person centred consultations while working collaboratively with a broad team of clinicians to ensure the best possible health outcomes. The postholder will contribute to the ongoing development of clinical standards, continuity of care, and service improvement across the practice.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, evidence based clinical care including acute, chronic, and preventative consultations.
  • Work efficiently with the multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient allocation and reduce unnecessary GP workload.
  • Use EMIS and associated clinical systems (e.g., TQuest, Pathlinks) to maintain accurate, timely documentation and support clinical decision making.
  • Participate in duty/on call rotas where required, with reduced frequency due to AHP support.
  • Provide continuity of care and support complex cases, with particular benefit from mental health colleagues.
  • Contribute to improved workflow by minimising unnecessary admin through effective delegation and process optimisation.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, MDT discussions, and monthly protected learning time.
  • Support training and mentorship activities within the practice, including opportunities to develop as a GP trainer.
  • Engage in personal development and appraisal processes, with opportunities for progression into leadership roles.
  • Uphold the organisation's values, fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive culture.
Person SpecificationKnowledge
  • Understanding of primary care clinical practice and GMC standards; familiarity with EMIS and digital clinical tools.
