We are currently recruiting for a Duty Security Officer to join the 5 Star May Fair Hotel.

Overview

  • Maintain constant awareness of hotel activity, ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and assets.
  • Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, back of house spaces, and perimeter zones.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels in accordance with hotel protocols.
  • Support the management of lost property, incident reporting, and daily security logs.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, high profile events, and crowd management when required.
  • Enforce hotel policies while delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Liaise with external emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel security, corporate security, or a similar guest facing role.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence.

  • The ability to remain composed under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Excellent observational skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
