As a Domestic Loss Adjuster, you will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across Essex, visiting customers' homes, coordinating visits from contractors, and settling each claim.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and investigate domestic property damage claims.
  • Visit claimants' properties to gather evidence and assess damage.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and settlement recommendations.
  • Manage your own schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with policyholders, insurers, and contractors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of home insurance policies and domestic property.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple claims simultaneously.

Preferred (but not essential)

  • Experience using Apple iPads or other tablets.

On the Job Development

  • Comprehensive Sedgwick specific training.
  • Support to attain Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.
