What you'll be doing: We are looking for a Paint Technician to carry out all Bodyshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet the business requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
Your key responsibilities as a Paint Technician will be:
- To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of motor vehicles.
- Fulfil all tasks to the customer's complete satisfaction.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines.
- Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
- Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
- Attend specialised training as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.
What we need from you: As a Paint Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong experience in car preparation and painting.
- Experience within the accident repair and bodyshop industry.
