Responsibilities
- Lead the day to day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis and the negotiation of contracts and other agreements; coordinate associate and analyst materials with senior management.
- Work directly with companies across all industries to evaluate, structure and recommend financial alternatives across both investment grade and non investment grade ratings.
- Handle a wide variety of financing transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, restructurings and divestitures.
- Evaluate, structure and recommend financial and strategic alternatives, including analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestitures.
- Design and develop quantitative models to assess the economic performance of targeted companies.
- Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by PJT Partners management and for client review.
- Participate in internal and external client meetings, negotiate contracts and other agreements, and conduct due diligence sessions.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- At least 6 years of investment banking experience.
- Multiple years of experience in debt infrastructure / infrastructure financing within an investment banking setting.
- Strong background in finance, accounting and legal documentation; responsible for structuring and executing investment grade, leveraged and distressed financings, including bonds, leveraged loans, equity linked and private capital solutions.

- Strong analytical and writing skills, initiative, great attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and the ability to perform independently and within teams (particularly in a boutique advisory firm).
