The Merchandising team is looking for a talented Junior Operations Merchandiser to join us on a permanent basis. You will play a vital role in supporting the smooth flow of stock through the supply chain and ensuring alignment with commercial priorities. The role coordinates operational activity across Buying & Merchandising (B&M), Logistics, and other key business functions to drive data accuracy, timely reporting, and process efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytically minded, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement of systems and procedures, supporting both short term trading activity and long term business strategy.
Location & Schedule
- Location: Our Westfield office in Shepherd's Bush
- Reporting into: Merchandising Manager
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 days in office)
Responsibilities
- Managing the day to day movement of stock, including inbound deliveries, transfers and RTVs, while resolving operational queries.
- Monitoring inbound and outbound activity, identifying risks and escalating issues where required.
- Producing and sharing operational reports and KPI updates with key stakeholders.
- Supporting shipments, deliveries, delays and allocation readiness to ensure smooth trading.
- Building, maintaining and improving reporting using Excel, while providing meaningful analysis and insights.
- Preparing weekly reports and carrying out ad hoc analysis to identify commercial opportunities and risks.
- Building strong relationships and collaborating with teams across Buying & Merchandising, Logistics, Distribution Centres, Tech/Data and Finance.
- Communicating clearly and working cross functionally to resolve issues and support business priorities.
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new team members and contributing to team discussions.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and overall operational performance.
