Responsibilities
  • To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home
  • To implement safe working procedures and practices in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and the COSHH policy and procedures
  • To routinely clean rooms including furniture fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment as per the daily cleaning schedule
  • To clean sanitary and other equipment, with attention to the guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
  • To deal with refuse and dispose of it in the correct manner
  • To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all equipment
  • To undertake deep cleans of all areas including residents' rooms and communal areas
  • To support the kitchen with washing and cleaning in the evening
  • To undertake other duties, as may be necessary from time-to-time
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues and visitors
  • To work as part of a team supporting others
  • To work effectively within policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company
