- Work on a rolling shift pattern including alternate weekends
- To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home
- To implement safe working procedures and practices in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and the COSHH policy and procedures
- To routinely clean rooms including furniture fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment as per the daily cleaning schedule
- To clean sanitary and other equipment, with attention to the guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
- To deal with refuse and dispose of it in the correct manner
- To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all equipment
- To undertake deep cleans of all areas including residents' rooms and communal areas
- To support the kitchen with washing and cleaning in the evening
- To undertake other duties, as may be necessary from time-to-time
- To communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues and visitors
- To work as part of a team supporting others
- To work effectively within policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company
- Caring, compassionate and dedicated and enthusiastic
