Head of Product Development, Public Markets
Aviva Investors is the asset management arm of Aviva plc, managing £253billion in assets across nine countries.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Product Development Managers and drive new product development activity across Public Markets strategies.
- Collaborate across all areas of Aviva Investors to conduct detailed feasibility assessments for new products, ensuring ideas meet client needs, have strong investment capability, robust financial business cases and are operationally viable.
- Oversee the build and launch of new products, including project management, delivery of good client outcomes and responsible risk management.
Qualifications
- Strong, demonstrable experience in product roles within the investment industry with awareness of product trends, innovation and regulatory developments.
- Experience launching ETF products and a solid understanding of tokenisation.
- Current knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements to keep product design and development compliant.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with committees, boards and colleagues at all levels.
- People leadership experience, able to motivate, develop and empower teams in a complex and fast paced environment.
