The Role
- Provide strategic leadership for the department, ensuring high quality teaching and strong outcomes for students across all key stages.
- Play a central role in shaping the curriculum, supporting staff development, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Maths department to deliver consistently high standards.
- Support, coach and develop teaching staff to enhance performance and practice.
- Plan and implement an engaging and ambitious Maths curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Maths teaching.
- Experience in a leadership role such as Head of Department or Second in Department.
- A proven track record of raising attainment and improving outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork.
