The Opportunity
As Group Human Resources Director, you will develop and execute a forward thinking people strategy that enables business growth, operational excellence, and a high performance culture across all divisions. You will provide strategic leadership across workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, culture transformation, and people governance. Working closely with senior executives and business leaders, you will ensure the Group attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent while creating an environment where people can thrive and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a Group wide People & Culture strategy aligned to business objectives and future growth plans.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the Executive Team on people related opportunities, risks, and organisational priorities.
- Lead and inspire a high performing People & Culture function across the Group.
- Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience
- Champion a values driven, customer focused and high performing culture.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and retention initiatives.
- Lead cultural transformation programmes that strengthen organisational effectiveness and performance.
- Talent & Leadership Development
- Build leadership capability across operational and corporate teams.
- Establish robust succession planning and talent review frameworks.
- Deliver learning and development strategies that support career progression and future business needs.
- Coach and develop senior leaders to enhance effectiveness and accountability.
- Organisational Effectiveness & Change
- Lead organisational design and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support acquisitions, transformation projects, restructuring programmes, and future growth opportunities.
- Implement data driven workforce analytics and performance measures.
- Drive effective change management practices across the organisation.
- Employee Relations & Governance
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice people governance.
- Provide strategic leadership on complex employee relations matters.
- Maintain robust HR policies, systems, controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing
- Develop and deliver Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
- Promote a psychologically safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

About you
- Significant senior HR or People & Culture leadership experience within hospitality is a must.
- Demonstrated success leading culture transformation and organisational development programmes.
- Strong expertise in workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Deep understanding of employment law, industrial relations, and people governance.
- Experience partnering with Executive Teams and Boards.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate people strategy into measurable business outcomes.
